Campaign

To sensitize the community for facilitating social inclusion and promoting the rights of persons with disabilities especially NDD and MD. SEID conducts campaign programs such as Art Competitions, Debate Competitions, Art & Photo Exhibition, Exhibition of Products made by SEID’s beneficiaries, Experience Sharing Programs such as cultural shows for the children with disabilities and the students of mainstream educational institutions as well as the Community Campaign for Inclusive Employment for the adolescents/persons with NDD.

Advocacy

SEID has an active Self-Advocacy Group, currently comprising over 40 members with different types of NDDs, to discuss their rights, also their violations and solutions, different government and international human rights policies and laws, their experiences, achievements, different self-advocacy tools and mechanism, etc. on a regular basis. They meet weekly or anytime when they feel it is necessary to decide on issues that are important to them.

SEID’s self-advocates, with support from the organization, plan and organize advocacy programs to entail changes in attitude and behavior of the society towards the persons with NDDs aiming to ensure dignified social inclusion by influencing the policy-makers, community leaders, civil society representatives, political leaders of the country, and mass and social media.
